2003

Though I didn't graduate from Heritage, over the last 30 years I have kept more contact with some of my Heritage friends than my Savanna High friends. In fact both Dave Asay & Bubba were in my wedding. I Identify with a Patriot much more than a rebel, so thanks for the invite to the reunion.

After high school I went to Cypress JC and then to Fresno Pacific College on a basketball scholarship. After Fresno Pacific I got my teaching credential at Biola University and then taught and coached at Lowell High School as well as Heritage for a year or two with Mike Edwards.

I married Jody Matlock in 1983. We met while working at Knott's Berry Farm in high school and college summers. Her airline transferred her to Fresno in 1984. I got a job at my alma mater, Fresno Pacific, as assistant Athletic Director and assistant basketball coach.

Our daughter Jennifer was born in 1984 and our son Jason in 1986. Jennifer, 19, graduated from Fresno Christian High School and is now a junior at Fresno Pacific University. Jason, 17, will be a senior at Hoover High School, mascot Patriots, and is playing basketball.

While working at Fresno Pacific from 84-94, I got involved in a little farming on the side. Private Christian colleges don't pay much but are a great place to work. In 1995 I left coaching and started farming full time, growing raisins, apples, peaches, cherries and almonds over the years. Orange County city slicker turned farmer, who would have ought it 30 years ago?

1999

Jody's airline pulled out of Fresno, we stayed. She is now the travel coordinator for Fresno State's athletic department.

Our family attends Fresno EV free church. Hobbies: mostly coaching my kids' teams, fly fishing with Bubba and Terry Chamblain, riding motorcycles and water skiing with my son and daughter.

Looking forward to San Diego and seeing all of you.
